A Letter From Scott Franklin
After practicing law for more than 40 years, I have decided to retire.
It has been a privilege and an honor to represent so many wonderful clients over the years.
I went to work every day looking forward to helping my clients with their business, real estate and estate matters and I went home every evening satisfied that I was able to help them get through some difficult legal situations.
During those years, I have also tried very hard to give back to my community, and served on the West Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals, coached soccer in town for 25 years, served as president of the league, started the West Hartford Little League, the Miracle League of Connecticut, and The Underground, a music venue for West Hartford High School students. I was also the Chair of the West Hartford Bicycle and Pedestrian Commission and helped to make the Town of West Hartford a more bicycle and pedestrian friendly community.
Although I will be leaving the practice of law, I am thrilled that Attorney Aaron Frankel will take over the practice. Aaron, who was raised in the Hartford Area and graduated from Hall High School, started working with me over a year ago. A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, he previously worked in two large law firms in Boston. After having a daughter, Aaron and his wife Becky decided to move back to the Hartford area to be close to their families. Aaron’s parents are very good friends of me and my wife Mary, and I couldn’t be happier knowing that Aaron will be taking extraordinary care of my clients for many years to come
I have been blessed over the years with an incredible co-workers and I am thrilled to report that Krysta, Terri and Kelly will stay with the firm, now called Franklin and Frankel LLC. They will help Aaron to continue to satisfy the legal needs of the law practice and move it technologically into the 21st Century.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to help you with your legal needs over the years. I wouldn’t have traded that time for anything.
